What is Commercial Audio?
What's Commercial audio? Similar to home audio it involves the installation of speakers and other AV equipment to assist in delivering the best sound to fit the environment. Generally most commercial audio systems are 70-100 volt and don't rely on the same amplification technology as residential grade low impedance systems do.
Courthouse PA System
Here we did a 600 watt 70 volt ATLAS-IED system for a courthouse. We installed 4 desk microphones for the board members, 2 wireless podium microphones and 1 microphone for the Judge to control the room right from his microphone screen. This system also supports the features of music streaming during pre-set hours, Full building paging/announcing.
High Intensity Training Gym
This is HIT training gym that's roughly 2,000 sq ft. Amplifier is a 2,800-watt LEA 70-volt system that's pushing 700 watts to each of its 4 channels. We had 6 equidistant surface mounted speakers pushing 160 watts each and a 1400-watt 15" subwoofer. This system at 3/4 volume would average 94 decibels, at peak it would hit 105 decibels. This system utilizes a SHURE bodypack supercardioid headset microphone so it can talk without feedback or interference during loud training sessions wirelessly for up to 15 hours uninterrupted.
Fine Dining
At this Fine-dining seafood restaurant we installed 6 ceiling mounted pendants and 6 in-ceiling recessed speakers to run ambient background music both inside and outside through the whole restaurant.
BATTER UP!
At this little-league field we did 2 JBL Stadium PA speakers mounted on a 2" metal conduit. Designed to run music loud, far and clear, this system was powered by the ATLAS-IED 600 watt 70-Volt Amplifier/Controller we were able to simply hookup 1 wired mic, 1 wireless microphone, and be able stream music wirelessly from anywhere with-in a 5,000 sq ft diameter of the speakers.
